The premise for the plan is to respect the mountainous landscape. The buildings and the surrounding landscape together form a lush forested neighborhood that settles naturally and inconspicuously to the mountainside. In the plan the buildings have been fused into the forested environment: the terrain and vegetation. Earth grading and complementary planting reinforces the rhythm and direction of the building volumes by continuing their longitudinal form, thus visually binding them together. The theme of the Landscape Plan continues in the details. The terraces and rooftops of buildings have been vegetated, which creates green views throughout the area, to housing units as well as to the surroundings. The views from the terraces extend over the vegetation to the far distance. In the plan the vegetation gradually and thematically changes down the mountain slope, from a background forest to a park, and to a bamboo wetland along the road.
